In the essay, The Loss of the Creature, written by Walter Percy, he discusses multiple stories relating to an unknown â€Å"creature† in our lives. Life is about our experiences. It is important to explore the world whenever we get the opportunity, but we must look at the world through a new perspective in order to truly see it. Percy would tell my mother that planning all these excursions to have the perfect vacation is not the way to truly experience life. In order to truly experience life, she should have changed her perspective and tried something new and different. For instance, we could have walked through the nearest town and seen where the day took us. It could have taken us to an old and dilapidated, but warm and cozy family owned restaurant. The architecture in Brazil is amongst the worlds most progressive and multicultural construction, creating a visual melting pot. The diversity and multicultural ideas resonate within the architectural designs of each specific architect designing in the country. Brazilians have vastly different architectural styles that are unique to their culture, especially modern styled buildings, utilizing cultural aspects from a mixed background. There are plenty of examples of various architects, from the area and from abroad, that bring their own ideas and designs but mix them with local architectural ideas. A comparison between the native architects design and the global architects design for Brazil illustrate the diversity of the architecture in the country. The designs may use similar styles but can vary quite a bit, revealing on the architects background and cultural tendencies.
